Menus for conferences and events

We are proud and delighted to have Pontus Frithiof as our restaurateur, in collaboration with Nordrest. Under the leadership of head chef Alexander Genberg, the KRAV-certified restaurant serves exciting menus for our conference and event guests. 

The concept for Tekniska by Pontus is based on the future, innovation and sustainability. This means that we work with six different basic dishes and seasons. The menus are based on vegetables and carefully selected protein sources, including fish, vegetarian or meat options (although not beef). 

This also means that vegetables are handled and cooked in a way that makes the most use of them. The little that is left over is placed in the restaurant’s composter or converted into biofuel through the National Museum of Science and Technology’s sustainability partner, E. ON. 

We bake our own bread in the restaurant, and we only select environmentally certified suppliers. We choose products such as Rescue, a juice that is produced from windfall, as well as Naturfrisk soft drinks that are produced in an organic brewery.

Business lunch 

Based on our sustainability policy, we work with a living menu, which means that the exact content of the business lunch is determined the day before it is served. The business lunch involves plate service at laid tables in the restaurant. 

The entire party chooses the same dishes, when selecting between vegetarian, fish or meat. We are happy to cater for special dietary requirements.

Conference package 

We have put together a meal package for daytime conferences, including lunch as well as morning and afternoon refreshments. Price: SEK 336 excluding VAT per person.

Mingle menu 

A pleasant alternative to a seated dinner is a standing mingle dinner. A perfect way to conclude your conference, for example. A mingle dinner is also an enjoyable element in conjunction with an activity, tour or after work at the Museum. 

The food is served on palm leaf plates made from fallen palm leaves, and comes with a wooden fork and a recycled paper napkin. Everything is composted after the dinner, along with any food leftovers, in the restaurant’s composter.

Canapés and Snacks 

Root vegetable crisps are a tasty and simple snack to go with your drink. If you want to offer a little more, canapés are an excellent choice. The canapé menu that we offer is in line with our sustainability policy and contains many vegetarian and fish options.

We offer several dishes that can be combined according to your wishes to create a tasty dining experience. The content of the menus is tailored to the season and is based on vegetables and carefully selected protein sources. Compose your own banquet menu by choosing a starter, a main course and a dessert.

Book dinner in our wonderful restaurant environment after regular opening hours (for parties of at least 50 people). The content of the menus is tailored to the season and is based on vegetables and carefully selected protein sources. The whole party chooses the same menu (we are happy to cater for special dietary requirements). Menu suggestions are provided at the time of booking.
