Do you know what it’s like to try to aim your rifle in biathlon when your pulse is racing after skiing? Or how much balance and strength is required in downhill skiing? In Winter games, you can be a winter athlete and try this and more yourself.
The Winter Games exhibition, opening on 18 February 2017, will introduce visitors of all ages to several action-packed, fun winter sports. You will also find out what it takes to succeed in these sports and learn about the science behind.
A total of 20 different stations
The exhibition introduces winter sports, winter sports culture and different winter phenomena in a diverse way. You will get to try your skills at about 20 stations – such as ski jumping, figure skating, tobogganing and biathlon.
You can also reminisce about unforgettable winter sports moments, marvel at ice crystals and try your skills as a commentator.
You can improve your skills at different sports or compete with a friend in speed, balance and accuracy. However, the exhibition is not just about sport – there will be other kinds of winter fun, too, such as building an igloo and throwing snowballs at a target.
