Opening hours

The museum is closed until further notice due to the situation concerning the coronavirus.

Normal opening hours

Open daily: 10.00–17.00, Wednesdays open until 19.00.

June 1920: Closed due to Midsummer.


Admission includes entrance to all exhibitions at the museum. Free entrance for all on Wednesdays from 17.00.

Children 0–6 yrs have free entry
Entrence (from 7 yrs): SEK 150

Currently, tickets are not available online

Based on the governmental decision to limit the size of public gatherings, The National Museum of Science and Technology will limit the amount of people inside of the museum to 500 at any given moment. We will count the visitors going in and out through the entrance.

Groups of minimum 10 adults or 10 children (from 7 yrs): 10% discount.

The Stockholm Package (The city card Stockholm à la Carte): free admission

Show your Cultural Heritage Card for a 50 % discount.


Admission to the museum: SEK 50 for pupils/students up to the age of 19. Accompanying teachers have free entry.

This applies to after-school centers, comprehensive schools, municipal adult education centers, and SFI (Swedish for Immigrants) classes.
