Inspiration Imitation – on innovation, creativity and imitation

What´s the difference between inspiration and imitation? How do you protect your ideas? How do you tell an original from a copy?

This exhibition looks at the importance of patent protection, trademark protection, design protection and copyright, and discusses their importance in our daily lives. We look at the various forms of protection there are and the problems surrounding this protection. The aim of the exhibition is to stimulate interest in finding out more about the area of intellectual propety rights. It´s only after you understand your own role in the intellectual property law system that you can take a stand on it.

This exhibition is a joint initiative of the Swedish Association for the Protection of Industrial Property and the National Museum of Science and Technology.
