Exceptions
Renovation Affecting Museum Accessibility – Pardon the Mess!
From December to April, we are renovating and making space for a new exhibition at the museum, focusing on the history of technology.
20 December – April
During this period, visitors will need to pass through a designated corridor in the Machine Hall to reach the Wood Hall, Wisdome Stockholm, Skogen, and Mega Mind. It will also be possible to access these exhibitions via our inner courtyard, where a ramp has been constructed to make it easier for visitors.
7 January – April
We will be moving our much-loved Model Railway to Teknoleket. This work begins on 7 January and will be completed in mid-April. During this period, the Model Railway will unfortunately not be accessible.
22 January
The Mine and Teknoleket is closed due to renovations. It will reopen as usual on 23 January.
7 January – April
Parts of Teknoleket will be closed as we build a brand-new train room. This will not affect the entire Teknoleket exhibition, and half of the exhibition will remain open as usual.
