A warped world

The exhibition A warped world took the visitor to a world of large and small, showing miniatures, art and nanotechnology.

A warped world of technology in miniature. Look carefully! Things aren’t always what you think they are. Eggshells could become road surfaces, strands of hair might be cables on an aeroplane, and a rocket could double up as a dance floor.

Just like Alice in Wonderland, you are invited into a surreal world in which the laws of mathematics and physics play tricks on your mind.
