Recommended age
Recommended age
At Tekniska, we want every visitor to have the best possible experience – no matter their age. That’s why we indicate a recommended age for all dome shows screened in Wisdome.
The recommended age is meant as a guide for you as an adult. It reflects which audience we believe each film is best suited for. As a parent or guardian, you decide whether a film matches your child’s level of maturity and sensitivity.
The recommendation is based on the film’s content, pace, sound level and visual effects – but also on the overall experience in the dome.
In some films, loud sounds, darkness or intense visuals may feel overwhelming for younger children (for example STORT or Chemistry of Life), while others are more playful and easier to follow (such as Rymdpatrullen).
What the age limit means
In addition to the recommended age, there is also an age limit – meaning what is permitted according to regulations.
When younger children attend in the company of an adult, the adult is responsible for ensuring that the experience feels safe and appropriate for the child’s age and maturity.
An adult is defined as a person aged 18 or older.
| Age limit | Description |
|---|---|
| 0 years | Children aged 0–4 years may sit in the lap of their accompanying adult free of charge. If a separate seat is required, a ticket must be purchased. |
| 4 years | Children under 8 years must be accompanied by an adult. |
| 8 years | Children aged 8 and above may attend without an accompanying adult. |
