Book the restaurant – Tekniska by Pontus

We are proud and delighted to have Pontus Frithiof as our restaurateur, in collaboration with Nordrest. Under the leadership of head chef Alexander Genberg, the KRAV-certified restaurant serves exciting menus for our conference and event guests.

Book dinner in our wonderful restaurant environment after regular opening hours (for parties of at least 50 people). The content of the menus is tailored to the season and is based on vegetables and carefully selected protein sources. The whole party chooses the same menu (we are of course happy to cater for special dietary requirements). Menu suggestions are provided at the time of booking.

The environment in the restaurant

The carefully refurbished environments, with their exciting design and well thought-out choice of materials, bring together history and the future.

The old listed building dating from 1881 was originally used as a stable building for the Life Regiment Dragoons, clear traces of which can be seen on the wooden pillars inside both the restaurant and the adjacent Eventrummet. The original pillar structure is intact, and the concrete floor has been treated with environmentally friendly oils. The moss roof in the seating gallery filters the air.

Along the walls of the restaurant are works of art and illustrations from the Museum’s archives – retro futuristic visions of the food and restaurants of the future.

The restaurant is situated next to Eventrummet, our largest venue, and it is possible to book both rooms for evening events.

Tekniska by Pontus has a terrace in a leafy and soothing environment, close to the playful Mathematics Garden. You and your party can enjoy a coffee break here, or mingle in this pleasant setting.
