Opening hours

Weekdays: 10 am –  5pm
Wednesday the museum is open until 8 pm (free entrance from 5 pm)
Sat-Sun:  11 am – 5 pm

The museum is closed: Midsummer's Eve & Midsummer's Day (June 23 & 24), Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.

Admission fees

Free entrance Wednesdays from 5 pm.

Children under 0–6 yrs: Free entry
Children 7–19 yrs: SEK 40
Adults: SEK 120
Familyticket (2 adults and maximum 4 children):  SEK 300

Student (20 yrs- ): SEK 100
Senior: SEK 100

The Stockholm Card: free admission

The Stockholm Package (The city card Stockholm à la Carte): free admission

Schools

Admission to the museum: SEK 20 for pupils/students up to the age of 19. Accompanying teachers have free entry.
This applies to after-school centers, comprehensive schools, municipal adult education centers, and SFI (Swedish for Immigrants) classes.

Discounts

For discounts, valid proof of age, etc, must be shown.
Students (20 yrs- ): SEK 100
Pensioners: SEK 100
Show your Stockholm Card or Stockholm à la carte card for free entry to the museum.
Show your Cultural Heritage Card for a 50 % discount.
Press cards/Reporter´s passes give free entry for visits to the Museum in the holder´s professional capacity.
