Junkers F13 is an icon of civil aviation. Developed in 1919 it marked the beginning of a new era. The single-engined, all metal aircraft had a production run of 15 years and was exported to 41 different countries around the world. The Museum of Science and Technology in Stockholm owns one of the few survivors.

International space exhibition to be launched in Stockholm
Tekniska museet (The National Museum of Science and Technology) in Stockholm will be hosting the world premiere of “NASA — A Human Adventure", an exhibition of 400 authentic items, many on display for the first time. A Human Adventure opens on January 27, 2011. The exhibition will then embark on a several-year-long tour of Europe and the United States. Tekniska museet will probably be the only venue in Scandinavia.

The Swedish Industrial Heritage Association (Svenska Industriminnesföreningen or SIM) has awarded its annual prize for 2009 to the Hydropower Station Site of Porjus.
